An international fashion whirlwind will sweep across Wuhan.

Reporters learned yesterday that the second China Wuhan international clothing (Academy) design Grand Prix was held in late October, and the 30 stars in the world will win.

The Grand Prix is composed of three parts: the international costume design Grand Prix, the 2009 spring summer Chinese fashion trend release and the Wuhan fashion forum.

According to the introduction, the competition focused on the production, learning and research of the garment industry to explore a number of innovative and practical talents with excellent design. The competition evaluation standard mainly depends on innovation and development potential.

The competition has been accepted since May. So far, hundreds of students from all over the world have taken part in the preliminaries. They are from more than 30 universities in Tsinghua University, Wuhan University of Science and Engineering, and more than 10 fashion schools in the United States, Britain, Italy and France.

After the preliminary assessment in August 5th, 30 players will be selected to participate in the final of October.
