Egypt Notified New Regulations On Import And Export Of Footwear And Garments

Before P, Egypt issued the ministerial Order No. 961/2012 of the Ministry of trade and industry in the G/TBT/N/EGY/29/Rev.1 WTO/TBT bulletin, which replaced the ministerial Order No. 626/2011 and made clear the applicable classification of goods imported and exported.

< p > 1. Non private final products (including < a target= "_blank" href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/" > shoes < /a > category, leather bags, a target= "_blank" href= "_blank" > clothing, furniture, carpet and ground coverings) have the following customs clearance options: < >

< p > choose 1: according to the 770 ministerial order (ninety-fourth articles) promulgated by the regulations on the implementation of the import and export import and export commodity inspection and regulation law (ninety-fourth articles) issued in 2005 and the regulations of the government on import and export law, the producers must register with the Egyptian import and Export Control Association (GOEIC).

< p > registration must meet the following requirements in time: < /p >

< p > 1. for registration by producers, producers, legal representatives or importers; < /p >

< p > 2. provides producer legal identity; < /p >

< p > 3. indicates the type and origin of products; < /p >

< p > 4. establish product quality control system; < /p >

< p > 5. implements production according to the standards promulgated by the Egyptian standardization and quality organization.

< p > choose 2: the goods must be accompanied by the approved inspection and inspection certificate, including shipment data, inspection and test results, etc., which should conform to the Egyptian accreditation standard.

Certification bodies must be accredited by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Organization (ILAC).

< p > selection 3: Inspection and examination certificates can be issued by the Egyptian testing agency or foreign agency, but the agency must be approved by the Ministry of foreign trade of Egypt, and have the accredited standardized laboratory and the testing capability of the relevant products.

GOEIC will conduct random checks on imported goods.

< p > two, intermediate products clearance (including natural < a target= "_blank" href= "//www.sjfzxm.com/" > leather < /a >, artificial leather, footwear and accessories, a target= "_blank" href= "_blank" > textile > yarn and dyed yarn) will be released on the basis of the 770 ministerial order issued in 2005 (the second part) and the implementation of the regulations of the import and export law.

The decree (ministerial order No.961/2012) replaces the ministerial Order No. 626/2011, which was notified by G/TBT/N/EGY/29.
